Dr. Alexandra Patten

Dr. Patten was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and has always had a passion for animals and the people who love them. She earned her bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Missouri–Columbia before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.

After veterinary school, Dr. Patten practiced small animal general medicine in Houston, Texas, where she developed a special interest in behavioral medicine and helping pets and their families thrive together. She believes that strong communication, education, and individualized care are essential to strengthening the human-animal bond and helping pets live happier, healthier lives.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Patten enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter, and their two dogs, Arlo and Spot. She loves exploring new restaurants and local flavors, discovering great live music, and making the most of time with family.
