Dr. Darlene Reesor, a native of southern New Mexico, has had a lifelong passion for animals, having grown up surrounded by horses, rabbits, dogs, and cats.
She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Colorado State University.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Reesor is a proud wife, mother, and grandmother—though her grandchildren are of the feline variety, with three "grand-cats" and her own three cats at home. Among her beloved pets is a special rescue cat from Lincoln, NM (home of Billy the Kid), aptly named Billy the Kat!
In her free time, Dr. Reesor enjoys quilting, woodworking, and hiking. Since joining Brodie Animal Hospital in 2017, she has become an integral part of our team.
